Blin is a messaging service operated by Verde Holding ("Verde Holding," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use Blin, how we use it, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — your email address, display name, and optional username, provided when you sign up.
  • Messages and content — the messages, reactions, and files you send, stored so we can deliver them and show your chat history.
  • Device and session data — sign-in sessions, device identifiers for passkeys, and push notification subscriptions you enable.
  • Technical data — basic logs (such as IP address and timestamps) needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, and debug problems.

3. How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide and improve Blin:

  • Delivering messages and calls between you and your contacts
  • Signing you in securely and keeping your account safe
  • Sending notifications you have opted into
  • Protecting the service against spam and abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your messages for advertising.

4. Calls

Voice and video calls are connected peer-to-peer where possible. Call audio and video are not recorded or stored by Verde Holding. When a direct connection is not possible, encrypted call traffic may be relayed through our infrastructure solely to establish the connection.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run Blin (such as hosting, storage, and email delivery providers), under contracts that limit their use of it, or when required by law.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile and messages are deleted from our systems within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to retain them.

7. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, passkey-based sign-in, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique email and keep your devices protected.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise most of these directly in the app's settings, or by contacting us.

9. Children

Blin is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service before they take effect.
